Carteret County is leading the State

In today's stressful economy we are proud to announce that according to statistics compiled by the North Carolina Association of REALTORS, Carteret County led the state with the highest year-to-date sales growth with a 7% increase in total dollar sales, while Brunswick County and Rocky Mount followed with a 4% increase, respectively. Carteret County also led the state in price appreciation with a 2% increase, while Jacksonville posted a 1% increase, respectively.

The Carteret County Association of Realtors held their 2011 Production Awards luncheon on February 1st. Many awards were handed out and... 

RE/MAX Ocean Properties went home with the Office Top Unit Production Rate for 2011 in recognition of the highest number, per REALTOR member of closed units in 2011. 

Team Johnson of RE/MAX Ocean Properties tied with Linda Rike & Ed Daughety of Linda Rike Real Estate for the Team Top Unit Production Rate Award.

Beaufort is Named America's Coolest Small Town in 2012

Budget Travel Magazine held it's 7th contest between the top 10 nominated small towns around the United States, one of which was Beaufort, NC.  After a very close month-long contest, Beaufort, NC tied with Hammondsport, NY for the winner.  Congrats to our small town, what a great honor!
